028/001 - Matchbox with Gymnast

These popular miniatures in the Matchbox are made in Seiffen since 1920. Earlier, the matchbox was intended more as a packaging for the miniatures. Later, furnishings and figures were placed in the boxes themselves. 

This is how even today in lovingly handmade little stories made of wood. This matchbox shows a Gymnast.
